David started his journey working for his families construction company and has worked in the engineering and construction industry. By working in construction and engineering for almost a decade, he quickly began to realize there was a significant shortage of educational institutions that deliver effective, project-oriented education in the architectural design industry. Using what he learned, he's helped thousands of people develop their AutoCAD skills and slowly start on their path to becoming AutoCAD professionals.
After years of tuning and development for the AutoCAD market, David created the AutoCAD Architect Academy to help scale his impact. Having helped hundreds of people learn both basic and professional AutoCAD skills, he's built a team of skilled designers and development personnel to provide you with feedback, support, and the professional guidance you need to succeed.

How long will it take me to complete the accelerator program?The timeline to complete the program from start to finish and to begin applying skills is about 4-6 months. However, timelines are dependent on the skill level, availability, and ability to apply feedback of the student. Some people complete the program in half the time, others take twice as long. Your pace is up to you.

How is the program structured?The program includes a combination of self-paced video content, personalized feedback, and a variety of tests you can take to increase your knowledge. Here's how you will engage with the program: - Watch self-paced, real world video content to get started creating your first designs. - If something confuses you or you need help, ask a question in the community space or send us an email and get a response within 24 hours - Send your deliverables to your instructor for grading and feedback, and see what your peers are working on in the community tab. - Get in-depth feedback from your instructor and peers. Feedback can be via email, text, video, or 1-on-1 meeting - Apply the feedback and adjust your project (or the next project!) taking your feedback into consideration. - Continue applying feedback until you receive approval to move on to the next project. - Rinse and repeat. The program gives you project ideas, ways to come up with designs, lessons in structural integrity, live lessons showing you how to apply what you've learned, and much more.

How much support will I recieve?You will receive multiple rounds of professional reviews on each sub-section of the course so that you can land a design role that you're happy with. In all, you can expect to receive over 10 rounds of in-depth feedback while you complete the program. You'll get feedback and support by asking questions in our private program community space, attend live workshops, and meet 1-on-1 with our instructors.

Why is your course so expensive?Our course is in-line with industry standards, and we provide a comprehensive overview of AutoCAD. Our course teaches you how to professionally use the software in order to prepare you for a future career in a professional field as well as your AutoCAD exams. We do offer payment plans. How much time do I need to commit to the program?Most people will commit between 5-10 hours per week to the program. However, pacing is up to you. some people spend 1-2 hours per week, while others will treat this program as a full time job.
